From authentic Konkani crab and spicy Surmai to crispy Bombil, prawns and loaded seafood thalis, these restaurants offer plenty for every seafood lover to explore.
Often, on weekends, we feel like going out to try something new, but we aren't always sure where to go or what to eat. While PCMC has plenty of non-vegetarian restaurants each with its own unique specialties there are fewer dedicated seafood restaurants in the area. Seafood enthusiasts are constantly on the lookout for good spots, so in this blog, we’ll share some of our favorite seafood restaurants in PCMC.
1) Chimbori
Chimbori restaurant specializes in crab dishes. If you aren't sure how to eat crab, the staff is happy to guide you. They offer a wide variety of crab dishes as well as numerous other seafood options. The 'Chimbori Soup' is a must try, and the combination of 'Rawas Konkani Rassa' (Indian Salmon curry) and 'Amboli' is absolutely delicious.
After the meal, you get a complimentary Gulab Jamun or a 'Banaras Paan Shot.' You can really taste the authentic Konkani style in the dishes served here.

The seafood platter at Coast & Co offers a chance to taste seven different types of fish. Their signature 'Tawa Surmai' (King Mackerel) was spicy and flavorful, and the 'Shimple Malvani Dry' (Clams) was also excellent. Tandoori prawns taste excellent with chili sauce, and the platter also comes with two complimentary mocktails. If you want to enjoy seafood with a variety of flavors all in one place, you should definitely visit Coast & Co.
